Apple iPhone 5 lawsuit/release date

Apparently, the iPhone maker is not content with their success in the patent dispute with rival Samsung. Apple has now filed a motion to ban four more devices, including the Galaxy S III smartphone. On Friday, the U.S. technology group struggled in federal court in California for a new trial because they consider four additional Samsung devices infringe their patents. A week ago, a court in San Jose just a few kilometers from Apple headquarters, found Samsung in violation of Apple's patents. Apple was awarded damages in the amount of more than one billion dollars.
On Friday, a Japanese court again rejected a lawsuit from Apple. The competent Tokyo judge rejected the argument from Apple as being inaccurate. In their battle for supremacy in the growing market for mobile devices, Apple and Samsung have been around the world with patent lawsuits. The Americans accuse the South Koreans to have mainly copied the blockbuster iPhone. The Asians countered with accusations that Apple illegally used Samsung technology.
Samsung plans retaliation
Recent reports are now talking of backlash on the part of Samsung. Reportedly, the manufacturer is planning for a stop on the sale of the iPhone 5. According to a report in the Korea Times, Samsung has several LTE patent rights, and the Apple iPhone 5 will probably be equipped with such. Samsung wants, as reported by the Korea Times, Apple sued in this regard.
Patent litigation without end?
Samsung will proceed with "all means necessary" against the new iPhone 5. Established under previous information, the LTE chip in the new Apple device infringes on existing Samsung patents. Apparently, Samsung will not sue for royalties from Apple, but hopes to achieve a complete ban on the sale of the mobile device in court (U.S. is now included).
Criticism of the judgments
Meanwhile, more and more increasingly appear to doubt whether the judgment of the California court is correct. Both Apple and Samsung, in the past, have been worldwide with various patent lawsuits. Samsung has now taken dominance of the mobile device market. Apple hopes to gain ground with the iPhone 5 release date, which is scheduled for Sept. 21st.
